Writer's picture: Roc BaroneRoc Barone

The first problem that can occur in stakeholder management is miss identifying the stakeholders. This will cause the project to not meet all the requirements of the stakeholders, to avoid this it is important to make sure that you have identified all the stakeholders for the project. Another problem is not properly valuing each stakeholder, each one will want a different requirement for the project but most team will not be able to complete every task, you will need to make sure that you complete the requirements of the more important stakeholders first, to accomplish this properly the project management will need to decide which stakeholders have the most influence in the project. The final problem is not having good communication with your stakeholders, it is important that you communicate with the stakeholder and keep them involved in the development of the project so that the final version will meet their requirement.
